Hawzah News Agency- Shaykh al‑Saduq narrated that his father (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Hashim, from his father, from al‑Nawfali, from al‑Sakooni, from Imam Sadiq (pbuh), from his father, from his forefathers, from Imam Ali (pbuh), who said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh and his family) said:
الْبَوْلُ قَائِماً مِنْ غَیْرِ عِلَّهٍ مِنَ الْجَفَاءِ وَ الِاسْتِنْجَاءُ بِالْیَمِینِ مِنَ الْجَفَاءِ.
Urinating while standing, without a valid excuse, is a form of uncouth behavior; and cleansing oneself with the right hand is also a form of uncouth behavior.
